Art We Like This Week - The Goddesses by Madame Yevonde
This week we’re looking back at the exquisite works of Madame Yevonde, a celebrated English society photographer, who examined idealised visions of feminine power and beauty. Her images bring to mind a romanticised Hollywood glamour of the 1930’s, and she was a pioneer of her time, addressing the need for change in the ways women could be portrayed.
